GoldenEye is a technology platform that organises neighbourhood security patrols. We connect groups of residents with licensed, vetted security companies who provide nightly patrol coverage. GoldenEye is not a security company — we are the platform that makes the service possible.

When you sign up, your payment information is saved but nothing is charged. Patrol service activates when a minimum sign-up threshold is reached within your neighbourhood cluster. Subscriptions for pending clusters are paused and not billed until activation. GoldenEye Canada does not guarantee activation timelines.

The Founding Member rate is a lower monthly price for residents who subscribe while founding spots remain available in their neighbourhood. Once those spots are taken, new subscribers pay the standard rate. As long as your subscription remains active, you always pay less than the standard rate. Founder's Rate is limited to the founding spots available in your neighbourhood, counted when your subscription is confirmed. It guarantees a monthly rate below the standard rate for the life of your continuous subscription — it does not fix the dollar amount. GoldenEye Canada will give at least 90 days' written notice of any change to the Founder's Rate. Applies to the subscribing resident's account only and is non-transferable. Subject to the Terms of Service.

If your neighbourhood does not reach its activation threshold, your payment method is never charged. You can cancel at any time before activation with no cost. We will notify you well in advance if your cluster is not progressing.

Every security company on GoldenEye is provincially licensed under Ontario's Private Security and Investigative Services Act, has passed RCMP criminal record screening, and has been personally reviewed and approved by our team before being assigned to any neighbourhood.

Yes. You can add up to 5 family members to your subscription at no extra cost. Each family member gets their own app profile, full patrol tracking access, and a live SOS button.

Press and hold the SOS button in the app for 3 seconds to alert the on-duty patrol in your area and share your location. The SOS feature is only active when a patrol is on duty in your neighbourhood. GoldenEye Canada is not an emergency services provider. The SOS feature is a supplementary communication tool only. Always call 911 in an emergency. Patrol response times are not guaranteed.

Earn a $50 credit for each new resident who subscribes through your referral link. Referral credits are issued once the referred resident's subscription activates. Referral credits subject to program terms and conditions. GoldenEye Canada reserves the right to modify or discontinue the referral program at any time.

You can cancel your subscription at any time before your neighbourhood activates — no charge, no questions. After activation, you can cancel with standard 30-day notice through the app or by contacting us.

GoldenEye is currently operating in the Greater Toronto Area. We are actively expanding. If you are outside our current coverage area, you can join our waitlist and we will notify you when your area becomes available.
